12/19/2017 - TJC Book Club - "Moonglow" by Michael Chabon

We will meet on Tuesday, December 19, at 7:30 p.m. in the Beit Midrash to discuss Michael Chabon’s Moonglow.   This novel, which was inspired by a conversation Chabon had with his grandfather near the end of his grandfather’s life, is a fictionalized account of his grandfather's life from his childhood in Philadelphia to his experience as a soldier during the invasion of Germany, his career at NASA, his imprisonment in New York, his wife’s battle with mental illness and their old age.

All of our books can be ordered on-line through TJC website at where you can click on the Amazon link to earn a commission for the Synagogue.  Multiple copies of our selections are also available at the Princeton Public Library on the “Book Club” shelves.  For a list of previous books or more information, please contact Donna Gabai at
