    FAMILY 01/2008

The Pwee family is approaching their two year anniversary—they’ve been adjusting to their new life and are  expecting Baby number three in November.  A Thanksgiving baby!

    Right now:

      • Mr. Pwee continues to enjoy his work at McCaffrey’s in the salad bar.  The family received health benefits mid-summer  and are now able to see private physicians.

      • Mr and Mrs Pwee continue to learn English and practice driving.  They look forward to getting their licenses.  And then they will need to get insurance.

      • Their four year old son has started the full-day Riverside Nursery School Program.

      • Several members of the TJC Adult B’not Mitzva class are designating the Pwee family in lieu of gifts.

      • In addition to working full-time, Mr. Pwee has started going to Mercer County Community College four nights a week to continue his education.

      • Mrs Pwee is attending classes at the Princeton Adult School and congregants are providing rides to the High School each week.

        IMMEDIATE NEEDS:

The family would be grateful for contributions or gift cards to help with expenses—especially with the new baby coming.   Please consider making a tax deductible donation on their behalf.  Send your check to The Jewish Center office.  Write on the Memo line:  Social Concerns/Pwee family.

Their two small children have played quite roughly on the second-hand couch which was donated two years ago.  It's now sagging quite sadly.  They would appreciate a gently used donation to replace it.  It would need to be moveable with a mini-van, or will need to be delivered to the family.

If you are interested in assisting the family with occasional rides, driving lessons,  learning basic budgeting skills, or tutoring (in English or on the computer), please contact Louise Sandburg at:
