TJC Celebrates Its 60th Anniversary

60th

With the High Holidays, Sukkot and Simchat Torah behind us, and Thanksgiving and Chanukah right around the corner, the spirit of reflection and celebration continues and our plans to commemorate TJCs 60th anniversary are booming.
There are many opportunities to join in the celebration and we look forward to seeing you at the following events. There is still an opportunity to get involved in planning these programs and we would welcome your help! Please reach out to the appropriate chairperson to volunteer.

JCW Shabbat
Save the Date…On January 23, the women of our congregation will lead and be honored at Shabbat services. Please join us as we look back on sixty years of JCW and the evolution of this group whose mission is to build and sustain a warm and inclusive community. Comprised of caring, compassionate and socially conscious women, JCW’s priority is to nurture, replenish and stimulate our members and to foster connections with one another. What better way to celebrate sixty years of women who’ve made this happen? Details will be provided in future issues of the newsletter.

TJC Tribute Dinner & Purim Party
Save the Date…TJC’s 60th birthday will be highlighted with a celebratory tribute on February 27 at TJC’s Purim Party.  It will begin with the Megillah reading at 6:30 p.m., followed by a spectacular Purim Party with food, drink, fun and entertainment provided by the Sally Mitlas Orchestra.

For details and reservation form, see here.

The occasion of TJCs 60th birthday is a great time to celebrate our enduring success and engage the wide participation of our community! The founding of TJC opened the door to establishing a Jewish community in Princeton, and there is no better time to reconnect with your TJC friends and participate in our programs, classes and activities than right now! We look forward to celebrating with all of you!
