The Joan Levin School of Early Childhood Education

library

The Joan Levin School of Early Childhood Education enrolls approximately 75 children between the ages 12 months to 5 years. We offer a comprehensive program for toddlers through pre-K with an afternoon extended day program and enrichment classes. Class options cover 1, 2, 3 and 5 days a week. Along with the celebration of Jewish holidays through stories, art, and music, the curriculum focuses on the development of basic reading, writing, and math skills in preparation for a successful transition into kindergarten. Events are planned throughout the year including school shows, educational programs, field trips and unique days such as, Bike Day and TOUCH A TRUCK. We also offer our Solomon Schechter Award winning, Hebrew Immersion enrichment class to our 3-5 year old students. Activities complement the program's objectives: to develop and enhance a sense of pride and commitment to Jewish values and ideals; and to create a safe and nurturing environment for both academic and social development.

Available during the summer months is Machaneynu, Our Camp, a day camp experience for pre-schoolers.
