WELCOME TO THE RELIGIOUS SCHOOL AT TJC The goal of our Jewish Center Religious School is to help our students become proud Jews and participants in Jewish life.
The Jewish Center Religious School's mission is to create a nurturing, stimulating and inspiring environment where learning is for everyone and not beyond anyone. We strive to provide high-quality, relevant, and engaging educational experiences that foster a strong sense of identity, commitment to Jewish living and values, connection to one another and to our community and concern for the world around us. We seek to impart in our students a love of tradition so strong that individuals will continue to make Judaism a meaningful part of their adult lives and one day pass on this commitment to their children. Curriculum The Four Pillars of the Curriculum Hebrew The school curriculum emphasizes Hebrew as both a sacred and a living language for Jews. Therefore two tracks of Hebrew study were created: the prayer track and the conversational track.
Yachdav (Special Needs Program) This Solomon Shechter award-winning program is for students with special needs.
