ZOOM Service Links for July 2020

In order to maintain security, and prevent zoom bombing, when you enter our zoom service, you must have your video on and show a correct name on your screen. If we cannot identify you, you will not be let into the service. Once you have been let in, you may turn your video feed off.

As we continue through the pandemic we will be making adjustments in how we offer our programs and services online. For the month of July we’ll be offering our midweek (Sunday and Wednesday) minyanim only on the Zoom platform, not on LiveStream. We encourage those of you who attend via LiveStream to try the Zoom platform instead, and let us know if you need help. While we ask that you have your video on when you join the service (for security reasons) you can turn it off after that so you’ll be able to see without being seen.

If you would like the El Maleh Rachamim prayer said for a loved one, please email Cantor Jeff or Rabbi Schoenberg prior to services, but not on holidays or Shabbat.

To Livestream our services, go to www.thejewishcenter.org. Scroll down to the gold box on the right which will say "Go to livestream." Click on that. On the next page, a grey box will appear. Click on that as well. You will then see our main sanctuary. If we are live, just click the play button. Most often, the camera goes live 10-15 minutes before the service begins.
To join the services via ZOOM, click on the applicable Zoom link above. If you haven't used Zoom before, Zoom will ask you to download its software. Do, that, then follow instructions. Make sure that you enable your computer's audio and video, then mute your own microphone by clicking the icon at the bottom left corner of the window.
